COLORADO ROCKIES FORTH OF JULY GAME

We spent last night watching the Colorado Rockies lose to the LA Dodgers 🙂 Back to the game. Our seats were good but I don’t know if they were worth the $40 we spent on them (guess we are spoiled with Sky Sox tickets where you can get Box Seats under $10). $9 dollars for a hot dog and drink and $6 for a beer was also a bit steep. I guess a happy six year old at his first Major League game and the great fireworks did make up for a bit of the cost, but still this will still be the only game for this year.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

The first thing I noticed about going to a Rockies game is it is EXPENSIVE. Much more than I thought it would be. Parking was not an issue as we decided to take the RTD light rail into downtown. I found the light rail easy to use and very convenient. I will probably use it again to get to any “downtown” event. Riding home after the game was a bit crowded but RTD did have about 6 cars hooked up so not their fault.
