<\/a><\/p>\nIf you were a young guy growing up in Denver “back in the day” you probably remember<\/span> going to Denver Bears baseball games at Bears Stadium (later named Mile High<\/a> Stadium in 1968, but I still remember it being called Bears Stadium while I was growing up). This was the only game in town and I remember<\/span> the big July 4th<\/span> games. I was sitting at the NLCS<\/span> Game 3 and a few folks and I began talking about the Bears with a few other folks. Though many remembered<\/span> the Bears (and later the Denver Zephyrs) no one really knew what happened to them. Well the team is still alive, if not in Denver.
