Is everyone having a great weekend? This morning I am moving a bit slower than normal, might have had a little more old fashioned beverages than recommended. But what a fun Saturday night. Started with an impromptu Facebook messenger happy hour with Rich Layton. Then we joined a Lost 80s video watch party. Chatting and making fun of old music videos with people from all around the nation (met some nice ladies 😆). Even some karaoke before the evening ended at nearly 1am. Isn’t technology great? What fun things are you doing to pass the time? via Facebook
GOOD MORNING! Just want you to know, that you heading into work or not this morning is irrelevant. You ARE ESSENTIAL! via Facebook
something to do on a Thursday night… at home via Facebook
Okay… Just finished my first King Soopers grocery curbside pickup. Worst experience ever. Got to give them an D-. Only reason no F is the young lady who loaded the car was still nice. Never thought I would say this… But Walmart is much better.. at least compared to this experience. via Facebook
Just had my backyard neighbor, who I’ve seen many times, but never met, just stop by to check on me. Young Navy guy. He stood way back while we chatted briefly. Nothing special, just thought it was pretty cool he stopped by. That is all. via Facebook
I know this is supposed to be motivating. But just trying to figure out what kind of flower that is? Maybe I’ve been single too long , or couped up alone too long, but… via Facebook
As I begin week 4 of solitude I have come to realize that binge watching Netflix is not a great hobby. 🥱🤔 via Facebook
Colorado an hour and a half till lock down! Just thought I’d remind you. I reality… today will be exactly like the last two weeks, but at least today you really have a valid excuse not to shower. via Facebook
Was trying to do the planet fitness Workin but they are having technical difficulties. Amazed at the number of complainers on there. So many angry messages. It’s free guys come on. I guess they (the whiners) never had issues streaming to 3000+ people. And all the people complaining that their gym is closed and they want their money back immediately. Not like PF had a choice in the matter. And they are freezing membership dues and refunding for what’s already been charged. People still not happy … This is why I always say I like individuals but people as a group… What a bunch of d bags. via Facebook
Got an android phone or google assistant speaker in your bathroom or in your kitchen? Next time you wash your hands say, “hey google, help me wash my hands” via Facebook
Word of the day. via Facebook
I’ve used zoom many times for school and even today for a meeting. I never turn my camera on, and this is why… LOL. via Facebook
Ok I got food and kind of like the bank account not dropping from eating out. Not quite ready to order out or head to the local drive through. Using this time to empty the freezer. But I am getting close. Never used any food delivery service. So, GrubHub, Uber eats, door dash just a bunch of strange entities. Which one do you use? Which one is the best? via Facebook
Damn. Further YouTube research discovered diagnostic mode on washer. Reassembled everything. Ran mode. No faults noted. Machine runs like a champ. So, do I canx the new pump or what? via Facebook
Yahoo! I can’t believe it! I found bacon in the freezer! #littlethings via Facebook
Well when it rains it pours. Remember how my furnace broke, then we all got quarentined (sort of), well now my washer isn’t working. New pump ordered won’t be here till next week. Oh well broke on the last load. via Facebook
Well it’s Columbus day, so that means a day off from work. Spent the day like I spent the entire weekend and just took it easy. Mostly chores around the house and rested. Did get the dog to the dog wash and cooked a nice pot roast dinner for myself and my buddy Rich.
Well this blog has been pretty dead for quite a long time. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. get most of my attention these days. But, now I have some free time on my hands so I figure maybe a little comeback is in order. Tonight my buddy Rich suggested we spend a snowy, cold night having dinner at the nearby Red Robin. Since I haven’t stepped in the doors in over 6 and a half years, I said why not, and was not disappointed. At first the service was really slow, seemed like they forgot about us. But it turned out the server didn’t know he’d been assigned our table. Once he figured it out service was outstanding. Our order was moved to the top of the queue and we got a nice basket of fries to snack on. I ordered the Black and Bleu burger, and though it was a mess to eat it was tasty, though maybe just a bit strong on the Bleu part. It will probably less than six years before I go back again.
We got a lot of snow last night and it is snowing pretty good here right now. Schools already announcing delays for tomorrow. Initiate Operation Snow Day at this time. Start flushing those ice cubes, flipping those PJs inside out, etc.
