Tonight we headed back to Longmont to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Originally, we just went to celebrate my brother in laws birthday, but then they threw in “the boys” birthday for good measure (his birthday in next Tuesday).

Here you can read/hear the ramblings of a pretty boring guy

It’s not Veteran’s Day yet, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating a bit early. Today “the boy” and I joined about 20 other boys and leaders in recognizing veterans by participating in the 2008 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade. This is our forth year participating in this event and it is always a great time.

Well it is late and what a busy day I’ve had. Still spent the day in Jury duty. Luckily today was the last day. Nearly 7 hours in the deliberation room was more than enough time for anyone to spend.
Rushed home after court changed and went to the Republican Wake…. er I mean… Victory party here in the Springs. I am not a Republican (unaffiliated) but we went to support our friend Mark Waller. Though the results were just trickling in when we had to leave; it looks like Mark won his district… Early congratulations to the new Colorado District 15 State Representative. I am sure it was my website that put him over the top 🙂
I was a bit disappointed in the results of Presidential election. Not because Obama won, but because it was over with 0% of our votes counted. So much for every vote counts.
