Quiet Saturday

2008_bolt_wallpaper_004

Not much to report today.  was a quiet day around here.  Spent the morning just lounging around.  Then afternoon was spent putting up outdoor holiday stuff.

Early evening we went to the movies and saw Bolt.  It is actually a very fun and enjoyable movie.  One of the best we’ve seen in a while.   I do have one question though.  What is up with all these movies in 3D?  This is our third one (I think).  The movies look great, but I am getting tired of spending the extra $2.50 for the glasses.

Grumpy Day

I don’t know what it is, but I have been in a “mood” all day. Even Facebook didn’t help. Maybe it’s the cold and dreary day. Maybe it’s the Moon being aligned just right with Jupiter and Venus. Maybe I am just a grump. Oh well like all good bears, I guess it is time to hibernate for tonight. Let’s hope for higher spirits tomorrow.

The Facebook Phenomena

O.K. It has been a full week since I signed up for Facebook, and dare I say it, 25 friends later I am addicted to all things Facebook.

Who knew it would happen so quickly?  It’s so easy… and I can talk to people I haven’t heard from in years… Ding Ding… someone just wrote on my wall got to go check that out… what a new picture, got to see that…  Ding Ding… A new friend request… let’s see… hmm… a name I remember from High School… who was that again… where are those D@*& yearbooks?

Hold on I have to update my status… Oh sure I could do it on Facebook, but should I use Twitter or my cell phone, just to spice things up a little?  I guess I’ll use Twitter… the phone is dead from checking my Facebook page every 30 minutes just to keep updated with everyone.

It’s so bad I am sure I am suffering from the some Facebook Phenomena… This is when you log onto your Facebook page just for a second to see what’s going on, and suddenly hours have past and you have no idea what happened to the time.

They say admitting you have a problem is a step in the right direction to find a cure… so here I go…

My Name is Dave and I am a Facebook addict… Everyone: Hello Dave.
