Another Day Done
Man I am so behind on this blog. Oh well that just means I am busy. Boy hurt his knee horse playing yesterday. Spent the day playing nurse maid. That’s always fun… not. I’ll try to get a few more updates on here in the next few days. If you subscribe to the RSS feed might be a couple coming in a bit weird on the dates.

Happy Birthday/ Happy Veteran’s Day
Well a busy day today! Today is not only Veteran’s day but it also the boy’s “official” 10th birthday. We spent the day celebrating both.
For the first time ever, “the boy” had school on his birthday. So we brought in a few birthday snack to celebrate:
After school the forth grade Webelos Scouts honored Veteran’s with an end of day flag ceremony for the school:
Then home for a very small family party:
Finished off the night with chess practice back at the school…

Tonight we headed back to Longmont to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Originally, we just went to celebrate my brother in laws birthday,but then they threw in “the boys” birthday for good measure (his birthday in next Tuesday).

2008 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade
It’s not Veteran’s Day yet, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating a bit early. Today “the boy” and I joined about 20 other boys and leaders in recognizing veterans by participating in the 2008 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade. This is our forth year participating in this event and it is always a great time.
