Flag Football Season Begins Today

image Attended Coach-Parent meeting tonight which kicks off this year flag football season.  For a nice change I was not the coach that held the meeting.  Not needed for this season!  We will see how that works with me on the sideline, I am sure I can sit quietly and keep my mouth shut.

On a personal note I feel much better today.  Still achy and my head hurts, but not nearly as severe and not as fatigued.  Must be shaking this bug.

Bronco’s kicking the Raider’s back side tonight was a nice end to the day.   Looks like I might win week 1 in Fantasy Football as well.

Feeling Awful today :(

Man, I’ve been sick as a dog the last few days (what does that mean anyway?).  I keep meaning to get back on this blog thing, but life and now illness keeps getting in my way.

The last few days, headache, body aches, nausea, fatigue…  it stinks.  Maybe it’s West Nile… I did get eaten alive by the old mosquitos the other day at the paint mines.  Probably not… not fever… must just be a bug of some sort…  blah…

Spent most of the day in bed watching movies.  Boy had a friend over for a sleep over and they spent the day in the basement playing and leaving me be…

Popcorn Kickoff

Tired tonight!  Went to Limon early this morning to attend the High Plains Combined Roundtable and Popcorn Kick Off.  Long drive fro an even longer meeting.  I have intentionally passed on this meeting over the last few years and think I may do so again next year.  I did get a bit of swag though so we’ll see how I feel about this next year.

Went to our friends house for BBQ dinner.  Nothing fancy just hamburgers and hot dogs.  Nice though since I didn’t have to cook.

Feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of days.  We’ll see how the rest of the weekend goes.

McCain Speech

So, did you watch the RNC tonight?  I did… Tonight’s speakers not nearly as “entertaining” as last night, but they were O.K.

I thought John McCain did fairly well.  Not as “lively” as Palin’s was last night, but still good.  We’ll see how these folks do in the debates.
