Sitting at a table between two tables of British, with one person from Texas and another from California. The British are, in the great British tradition of course, harrassing us. And as a Colorado Native I am bound by state rivalry not to get along with Texas or California. If it wasn’t for the free limoncello and the mysterious Japanese “digestive” I don’t know what I’d do. via Facebook

Our water bus made a stop by St Mark’s square, and our tour guide convinced us to do the 30 to 45 minute beautiful walk back to the hotel. As you can see it did not take 30 minutes and any beauty was lost after about 45 minutes in the heat within the crowd of tourists. Oh well at least Julie Thuis got a fountain Diet Coke from McDonald’s. For those of you who know her you know that was important. via Facebook
