FW: The Obama Infomercial…

… or how will President Obama spend OPM (other peoples money)?

Family and friends, Tonight I watched the infomercial.  Immediately I noticed that Obama has changed his limit on the "Tax Cut" for the middle class.  In August and September, he was waving his finger at us saying "no one who makes less than a Quarter of a Million Dollars will see one dime of a tax increase…" Tonight, his infomercial showed that now that number has been reduced to $200,000; Joe Biden has reduced the number for a wealthy American down to $150,000 per year. More to follow…

W O W !!!!! Usually the position changes once they are actually ELECTED not 6 days prior to the election.  Or does President Obama… er ah…Senator Obama believe that he has already won?

OK, back to my main gripe, how the Senator uses other peoples money.  CBS news was reporting a $3M price tag for the infomercial. Was that just the cost paid to CBS?  Remember, it was prime time TV on CBS, NBC, BET, CNN, FOX (Not ABC hmmmmm?) At least since it was an infomercial we didn’t have to endure the after analysis from Katie Courick, where she tells us what we heard for another 30 minutes.

So what was the point of this infomercial?  Touching stories of people having financial troubles?  How is the President going to fix that? Perhaps he could divert some of the millions of dollars that he gave to the TV network executives for tonight’s infomercial?  Ooops, that train has left that station… I guess he’ll have to raise some taxes.  In the 21st Century that will be called spreading the wealth.  There’s a new term for you!

What was missing in the infomercial? Aside from photos of kittens and puppies, any real answer or solution.  It was loaded full of very touching stories and Obama made sure to mention cities in the "swing" states.  Make us think he is "one of the people".

Well, for Betty and me, this race is over.  We voted today and dropped our ballot at the county clerks office.  Now all we have to do is wait for the results.  I hear that CNN is almost ready to declare a winner based on early voting polls…

Standby, 6 days to go, remember, instead of focusing on the issue, confuse them with empty promises and call your opponent George Bush and call Sarah Palin "not very Presidential".
