We started our Summer vacation today. We decided with gas prices the way they are, we would take a little drive north to Denver. First stop was the Denver Zoo. I have decided that I am going to review each of our stops.
The Denver Zoo:
This stop is always one of “the boys” favorites. He has visited the zoo twice already this year and I am sure there will be at least one more visit before the end of the summer. Growing up near Denver means I have visited the zoo a ton of times in the past, but this is my first visit in quite a while. The cost was right (we had free passes and parking is always free). First thing I noticed is how much more crowded things seemed than before. Tons to do in a little area. There are lots of signs telling you the direction of the animals but we still got turned areound a couple a times. We spent more than four hours here and still didn’t see half the park. Still a great place to spend a day if you don’t take a six year old with you?
