We were just a few miles from this Tornado when it hit. We spent the weekend at BSA Camp Alexander which is located in Eleven Mile Canyon just up the road from the reservoir. The camp was unaffected and camp proceeded as normal in the rain and lightning, with us not being even informed of the tornado until about 8:45 PM. Not too happy about that considering the memories of the loss of Scout lives just over a month ago in Iowa due to a tornado in a Scout camp very similar to the one we were at, we should have been alerted sooner.
