Rocks and Sox

I am going to make a concerted effort to try and update this stupid thing a bit more often. At least with the silly things we do. Today was day five of "the boys" spring break. I have taken some leave to spend time with him. We haven't done anything too exciting until today. Today we went to Security Service Field and watch the Colorado Rockies and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox play in an exhibition game. The Sox won 5 to 3. Would have been a much better game if it wasn't so darn cold. With the temps hovering in the low 40's, it felt more like football weather than a spring baseball game.

You can view the pics from todays game by clicking on the ugly mug below :). I would have taken more pictures, but I was an idiot and left my brand new 2GB flash memory card in the computer at home. Since my camera only had a few MB left in internal memory this is all we could take.

Today we spend a cold rain and snow filled day indoors at the Sky Sox party.

Kiddie Records Weekly

Kiddie Records Weekly is a three year project celebrating the golden age of children's records.  This brief but prolific period spanned from the mid forties through the early fifties, producing a wealth of all-time classics.  Many of these recordings were extravagant Hollywood productions on major record labels and featured big time celebrities and composers.
